Oil Pastels

 

This piece was created using a mix of gel sticks and oil pastels, allowing for a layered, expressive texture that feels both soft and electric at the same time. I love how these materials let me blend and build color in an almost unpredictable way—perfect for capturing emotion and movement. The gel sticks gave me that smooth, painterly base, while the oil pastels added depth, richness, and those slightly messy, human details that make the piece feel alive.
